The Institute of Swimming is seeking an experienced marketing leader with a proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns that align with the strategic objectives of both the Institute and Swim England.
This pivotal role will be based at our SportPark office in Loughborough, with the flexibility to work from home two days a week and adopt a hybrid way of working. Where possible, flexible working will be considered.
You'll lead a dedicated marketing team, reporting directly to the Swim England Business Engagement Director and Institute of Swimming Managing Director. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing a robust marketing plan that resonates with our target audience. You will also optimise campaigns for maximum return on investment and ensure that our brand's personality is brought to life, and is relevant and impactful with our market base.
This role is a 28 hour week contract (0.8).
What You'll Do:
- Strategise and Execute: Develop and deliver a targeted marketing plan aligned with the strategic goals of the Institute of Swimming and Swim England.
- Collaborate and Innovate: Work closely with senior management to shape the Institute's strategy, integrating crucial customer insights.
- Lead Campaigns: Plan, develop, and implement engaging marketing campaigns across digital, email, social, PR, and advertising channels, leveraging insights to reach target audiences effectively.
- Brand Guardian: Ensure the Institute of Swimming brand maintains its relevance and that its values and identity are accurately represented.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Develop and track marketing KPIs, using data to measure success and report on activities and customer bookings.
- Team Leadership: Manage and direct the Institute of Swimming Marketing team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Digital Excellence: Oversee the Institute's website to ensure a seamless customer experience, strong SEO, and maximised course bookings.
- Relationship Builder: Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, partners, suppliers, and agencies to ensure value and ROI.
- Budget Management: Build and manage the marketing budget, optimising spend for effective outcomes.
