As the recognised national governing body for swimming, artistic swimming, diving and water polo in England, we help people learn how to swim, enjoy the water safely, and compete in all our sports. About The Role

Do you have a passionate about coaching and water polo? Do you feel you represent the voice of water polo coaches?

Swim England is looking for a passionate water polo coach to support the work of the Water Polo Leadership Group by being the voice of coaches in the sport.  This is a voluntary role.

The Coaching Lead acts as an informed voice in relation to the coaching landscape of Water Polo, providing input on priorities of the sport and supporting the professional team to deliver those needs. 

Your specific responsibilities will be:

  • Provide informed input to the discussions and decisions of the Group to ensure that Swim England is developing and supporting Water Polo  coaches.
  • Provide support and advice to the Sport Development Directorate in relation to community needs to support the implement programmes, policies and strategies let by the professional team.

This is an unpaid voluntary role, reasonable expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with Swim England's expenses policy.

About You

We are looking to engage volunteers who have experience of:

  • Actively coaching in sport at club with experience at regional academy or National Talent Centre level.
  • Providing constructive feedback to support programme design and delivery.
  • Working with people to identify challenges and solutions which fits many stakeholders.
  • Experience in water polo delivery in clubs in England
