About The Role

The Institute of Swimming are seeking an experienced Programme Leader to join the team on a full time basis (35 hours per week) to cover Maternity Leave (up to 12 months). The role will be based at our SportPark office in Loughborough but the successful candidate will have the ability to work from home and adopt a hybrid way of working. Where possible flexible working will be considered.

This is an exciting opportunity working within the Institute of Swimming as part of a busy Operations team responsible for delivering on leading the programme co-ordination and customer services function to meet financial targets and KPIs.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for:

Leading the programme delivery of the IoS coaching and SE/ IOS Health Programmes
Working constructively and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to develop effective working relationships supporting growth of IoS provision and achievement of KPI’s.
Effectively leading the Course Coordinators to ensure that agreed and appropriate organisational goals are set and achieved. Ensuring they have delivery plans in place for all programmes and supporting them to anticipate trends across the industry.
Reviewing and evaluating performance against agreed organisational KPIs and providing progress reports to management.
Troubleshooting of commercial programmes, including unforeseen circumstances, whilst ensuring IoS reputation and income are maintained.
Supporting the development and implementation of new IoS training commercial programmes and operational needs.

About You

The successful candidate must have:

Knowledge and understanding of the IoS Coaching programme
Knowledge and understanding of the SE / IoS Health Programme
Proven ability to effectively line manage and lead a team to achieve challenging targets
Excellent organisational skills and multitasking ability whilst keeping a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience of negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
Good motivational qualities and enthusiasm with an ability to relate to people whilst maintaining good discipline
A systematic approach to problem solving
Able to work at pace and deliver results under time related pressures
Experience of project management
